I designed the package Period because I believe we need a wider range of period related products that address the strains and struggles that comes with experiencing a period. The idea for the package is that it can be store bought or online to get is customized to fit the consumers wants. Inside the package is the consumers candy of choice (unless store bought), tissues, ibuprofen (or Advil if the package is customized), and a chocolate hemp bar to provide additional nutrients and reduce stress. The design is plaid which was inspired by my own Scottish heritage where kilts and plaid are gender neutral, making this appealing to trans men as well. It is a secure and small package which allows the consumer to easily carry it around in a bag if they wish to transport it to work, class, etc. To provide additional comfort, I assigned some fun names for each of the items in hopes to give a little smile.
