A former Tennessean from a small town, I moved to Philadelphia in pursuit of a graphic design degree. As a 2021 graduate of the Drexel University Graphic Design Program with a minor in Fine Arts, I have experience designing posters, digital illustrations and social media marketing as well as working hands-on with woodworking and acrylic painting. My degree has not only given me the necessary skills and tools to design, but most of all it gave me the confidence to experiment in the fine arts and incorporate those mediums in my design work.
During my school experience, I had opportunities to work side-by-side with companies like Protect Nature Now, South Square Market and Miles Table. The most compelling aspect of my work in social media was when I worked with South Square Market. My work included establishing a color palette for their Instagram feed that would provide an aesthetically pleasing and fun appearance. Specifically, I am good at collaboration as well as managing projects on my own. Balancing a variety of projects at one time energizes me creatively.
